Who am I?

Currently Golden Memoirs Media is a small business operated independently by James Deefholts. 

I'm a passionate local filmmaker based out of Newcastle NSW. I'm 21 and currently studying a bachelor of business out of the University of Newcastle majoring in Marketing. In my spare time I love spending it in the sand and sun, visiting the local cafe with my fiancé or playing piano.

Why this business?

I got the idea when discovering an old recording of my Grandmother that my Father took of her when she was alive. I never got to properly meet her as my only memories of her was when she had dementia. Being able to watch her talk about her early life and experiences in India was invaluable. Hearing her laugh, her demeanours and hearing the colour in her expression felt as if I was there. I felt connected and saw the value in performing a service like this.
